The original Gordie logo from 1956...sometimes called "Circle Man". Drawn by a friend of Gordie's who was a graphic artist at Knott's Berry Farm, it was replaced by the "shield" logo in 1958. Note that the word "Surfboards" is misspelled. When presented with the original design, Gordie noticed the error but decided to use it anyway, saying something like "we're surfers, not spellers!" Available in black or chocolate brown ink...looks great in either. Please specify ink color in "shipping instructions" if you have a preference.
